For healthy skin you need :
1. Healthy gut
Healthy gut = healthy skin
So to remove all the toxins from your body/gut, try green juices : (Cucumber + celery + mint leaves + tulsi leaves + ginger + lemon + 200-250ml water).
It clears out toxins from the liver and prevents constipation .
Ghee : Ghee improves your gut health.
Try to drink (10ml-15ml) early in the morning (see my previous post)
Also ghee moisturises your skin internally. .
2. Vitamins and minerals
. Vitamin C : aids in your skin’s natural regeneration process which helps your body to repair damaged skin cells.
To get vitamin C, drink AMLA JUICE early in the morning or post lunch/dinner.
Vitamin E – It’s an antioxidant.
Reduces skin itching, prevents inflammation and protects from sun damage.
. Biotin B7 : water soluble vitamin important for energy metabolism.
You may get red, scaly skin rashes if you are deficient.
Note : To prevent deficiency of these vitamins you may have supplements in tablet form as per the RDA.
3. Try concoction water which contains – jeera + saunf + jawing + coriander.
It helps to reduce acidity, bloating.
Improves the skin. Reduces body heat.
This is the best drink for those who have digestive problems. .
4. Water : Drink lots of water for glowing skin. (See my previous post about water) .
5. Avoid simple sugar 😬
. Carbonated drinks
. Juices 🥤 (eat whole fruits always)
. Sleeping in makeup ( one night of sleeping 🛏 in your makeup is likely to cause long lasting damage to your skin).
6. Skin care routine :
Know your skin type and use cosmetics/hygiene products according to that.
Go to bed without makeup. Follow skin care basic routine (cleansing – toning – moisturizing).
Always use good makeup remover and organic cotton pads. Change the skin products as per the age and season.
Self care is not selfish 😉
