Working from Home? Remember these Health Tips

Make a schedule & stick to it : Make a schedule for exercise, meals, for family and for yourself

Hydration: Keep 1 lit water bottle with you, so it will be easy to remember to drink water. Make sure that you are drinking enough water (try to drink Kokam, kairi panhe, buttermilk, lemon juice & coconut water)

Take care of your gut : Include prebiotics and probiotics in big meals like curd, pickle, raw salad and buttermilk etc.

Body posture : If you are sitting in front of computer then adjust the chair height so your feet are flat on the floor and your knees are in line (or slightly lower) with your hips. Sit up straight and keep your hips far back in the chair. The back of the chair should be somewhat reclined at a 100- to 110-degree angle. Ensure the keyboard is close and directly in front of you. Don’t sit for long time at one place. Take a break and stretch for relaxation.

Snacking : Always choose healthy options for snacking or for munching like dry fruits, whole fruits (not juices), makhana, roasted seeds, egg items, cooked sprout bhel with lemon etc.

Exercise : Make sure that you are giving at least 40min for exercise or yoga or HIIT or dance or any physical activity.

I Hope it will be useful 🤗

Best tips to deal with Constipation

When you’re constipated, your body is not able to get rid of waste (carbon dioxide, water, and other, possibly harmful, substances) like it needs to. Having it every once in a while is common, but if you’re dealing with symptoms for more than 2-3 months, your constipation is chronic. And that raises your chance of having complications:
.
Hemorrhoids :
The veins around your rectum and anus swell. These swollen veins are called hemoroids or piles.

Anal Fissures :
Passing hard stools or straining to pass stools can tear the tissue around your anus. These tears are anal fissures. They cause itching, pain, and bleeding.

Impaction :
When you can’t get stool out of your body, it can start to stick together in your intestines. The hardened mass gets stuck and causes a blockage. The squeezing your colon normally uses to push stool out of your body can’t move it because it’s too large and hard.
It can cause pain and vomiting. You may even have to go to the emergency room for treatment. Children and older adults are more likely to have fecal impaction.
