What is Alkaline Body?

Alkalinity means that something has a pH higher than 7.
The human body is naturally slightly alkaline, with a blood pH of around 7.4.

Alkalizing is a necessity to eliminate the probability of diseases by reducing inflammation.

What are the symptoms of acidic person?
* Feel sluggish and unwell * Body odour and bad breath * Bloating
* Bloody or black stools or bloody vomiting

* Dysphagia — the sensation of food being stuck in your throat
* Hiccups that don’t let up
* Nausea

To maintain optimal bloodstream pH or to reduce acidic nature of body you can choose a diet rich in alkaline-forming foods such as vegetables (especially green leafies), fruits and herbal tea.
Limit or eliminate highly acid-forming foods such as cheese, meat, chicken, and fish.

“No diseases, including cancer, can exist in alkaline environment.” – Dr. Otto Warburg
Best alkaline water: Lemon juice
Outside the body, anyone can see that lemon juice is very acidic. It’s natural state is acidic with a pH of about 2, but once metabolized it actually becomes alkaline with a pH well above 7. So once fully digested, its effect is proven to be alkalizing with many health benefits. (For more information check my previous post on Lemon water)

1. Building cell membrane structures.

2. Producing hormones like estrogen, testosterone and adrenal.

3. Producing Vitamin D and proper functioning of metabolism.

4. Digestion, by producing bile acids.

It doesn’t imply that you must indulge in high cholesterol foods. Reason being, your body is capable of producing cholesterol on its own. There are basically two types of cholesterols :

a. LDL (Low-density lipoprotein) or bad cholesterol – since it can clog up your arteries which may cause heart attack.

b. HDL (High-density lipoprotein) or good cholesterol – since it helps remove excess cholesterol out of the cells, including cells in the arteries.

Dietary tips to avoid high cholesterol :

1. Avoid bakery products, fast-food and takeaways. Animal products specifically red meat intake should be monitored/carefully picked if you have high cholesterol.

2. Seafood on the other hand is good for health.

3. Increase intake of fresh fruit, vegetables and whole grain foods.

Healthy Lifestyle like avoiding alcohol & smoking and regular exercise could help you keep your cholesterol and blood sugar levels in check.
Note: This is a informatory message and not necessarily applicable to every individual. Each individual has different needs based on his/her body type.

Beat the root with Beetroot

“Beet root”
💫 Inorganic nitrate is found in beet root. Nitrate helps improve the efficiency of the process that occurs in mitochondria, known as the cell’s energy factory.

💫If you are drinking regularly, it can affect the colour of urine and faeces due to the natural pigments in beets.
💫People may notice pink or purple, which is called beet urea and these colour changes are temporary and not a cause for concern.

💫Serving size : 2 small cups per day is safe to drink.
